Got some study model pictures to show.

Out of the three models, the first two are in contention for the final – I personally am more a fan of the first, once I get a couple more details ironed out it should be pretty cool – David prefers the 2nd which I like too, its just slightly more on the cutesie side than I’m used to.  Either one of those two works as Playful, Exciting, and Funky, so its pretty much just a job of picking one and running with it.

  1. I personally like the second one better, and I still think that you should use the curves found in your cup to influence the saucer and plate; don’t try to force the round supports from the bottom of the cup onto the saucer and plate unless you have a REASON for it to be there. Remember that you’re in charge of your own design decisions; re-focus on your words and think about how you want the set to act as a whole set, as well as the individual pieces.
Why are the supports on the cup so round, when the handle is so flat?
